Located on the beautiful Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland, the Portstewart Golf Club presents a challenging but straightforward course. The Strand Course is undoubtedly the jewel of the three golf courses of Portstewart, at the same time for the quality of the ground, the panorama and the pleasure of play which it provides. The course is set in wilderness, surrounded by towering sand dunes, with stunning views of the Donegal Hills, the Atlantic and the River Bann. The first hole, with its high tee, dogleg to the green and the sandy beach to the right, has always been a particularly memorable hole.
For a slightly less difficult part, the Riverside Course stretches from the clubhouse to the River Bann. And if you like a bit of tradition in your golf course, the original Old Course, which sits at the northeast end of Portstewart along the rocky coastline, has been testing players since 1889.
