The Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, founded in 1893, is one of Ireland's most prestigious and historic golf clubs. Located in Killarney National Park and surrounded by the lakes of Lough Leane, the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is a world-class destination which has hosted the Irish Open four times and is home to two 18-hole championship courses. The views over Lough Leane and MacGillycuddy's Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range, are nothing short of spectacular. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you when you visit the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club.
The Killeen is widely regarded as the most difficult and popular among good golfers. Created in 1971/1972 then recently redesigned, it reopened in 2006 with more length, faster greens, narrow fairways bordered by trees and numerous water hazards. It hosted the Irish Open in 2010 and 2011 and is part of a national park with stunning lake and mountain views.
Mahony's Point offers spectacular views of the famous Killarney Lakes overlooked by the McGillicuddy Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range. The last three holes are breathtaking as you play towards the lake. The 18th hole is described as "one of the most memorable holes in golf".
