Golf des Étangs

The Forez Golf Club was created in the Forez plain, some 25 kilometers from Saint-Étienne in the early 80s.
Designed by Golf architect Michel Gayon, the 5528-meter course for a par 70 and a slope of 124 is set up on a land of around forty hectares where more than 5000 trees and shrubs have been planted. 4 ponds have been dug and adorn 7 holes of the course.

All the greens are raised, which gives the course a certain difficulty, not immediately noticeable, and which even experienced golfers have been able to measure the impact on their score. A precise set of irons and an inspired putting will undoubtedly allow you to tame this wonderful golf course.

The ground is completed by a practice of one hectare allowing 8 covered posts and about twenty outdoor posts, a green and a bunker to practice approaches and a 9-hole putting green. The club house, with a surface area of ​​600m2, houses a very friendly restaurant, a bar and a lounge where it is good to come and comment on your performances, a large space reserved for bridgers as well as a pro-shop well stocked with clothes and in material.

The Forez Golf Club, managed by a Sports Association under the 1901 law, has had around 430 members for several years, which makes it possible to keep a great ease of play, both for players who are fond of recreational sport and for those who wish to practice this sport. competitively sport.
