Acquired by Joël Gautier in 1989, the land which will become the Olonnes golf course then Golf des Sables d'Olonne in 2017 was designed by architect Bruno Parpoil, in a naturally hilly setting just 4 km from Les Sables-d'Olonne, on the site of Castle of the Pierre Levée, historical monument of the XNUMXth century. Today the Golf des Sables d'Olonne is a private company with family capital.
Thanks to its ponds, to his biodiversity and his natural obstacles, parcours is sports stakeholders et attractive. It is characterized by two distinct parts, having a complete automatic watering: the upper zone with holes 1 to 9 where players with powerful drives will appreciate the depth of holes 2, 5, 7 and 8. The lower area with holes 10 to 18 is more technical and the game strategy is more marked by the water features.
The course is completed by a practice range spacious, a large double-deck putting green and pitching green.
This course is attractive, reasonable, and may be suitable for players of all levels.
