Built in a landscape of rolling moraines, the Golf & Country Club Schönenberg is located 20 km south of Zurich, in the Zimmerberg range, between Lake Zurich and Lake Sihl. Designed by Donald Harradine in 1967, the Schönenberg has since been considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in Switzerland.
With its soft and undulating fairways, perfectly integrated into the landscape, this 18-hole course with a creative design represents a challenge for golfers of all levels. It's no surprise that Schönenberg regularly hosts the Zurich Open, one of Switzerland's most renowned professional tournaments, which was attended by some of the best players in the world, including Fred Couples, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Sam Torrance, Sandy Lyle, Laura Davis, Constantino Rocca, Darren Clarke and Thomas Bjorn.
