The Madrid Federation golf school was inaugurated on September 1, 2004 and is located in the current Puerta de Hierro sports park (formerly Parque Sindical). This is a project carried out jointly by the Madrid Golf Federation and the Community of Madrid to offer all Madrilenians the possibility of easier access to this sport.
This project was initially funded by the Madrid Federation and the former Madrid Institute of Sport, Leisure and Recreation (IMDER), which is part of the Regional Ministry of Education of Madrid. The Madrid Federation is responsible for the management of the facilities and the sports program.
The school has a 300-meter driving range with 56 stations, a 9-hole Par 3 course of 773 meters, a large approach area and a putting green.
The center offers golf courses for all levels, from initiation to advanced and is open to everyone.
