Amarilla Golf Club

The Golf del Sur opened in 1987 with a professional golf tournament, the first in the history of sporting events. Pepe Gancedo designed the route, which was later modified by Manuel Pinero. Pinero has highlighted all the protected natural areas that surround the 27 holes, between the ravine, highlighting the beautiful native flowers; cacti, palm trees and other large, colorful plants. .

The course is known for its difficult 3 (par 5) and 4 (par 4) holes on the northern part of the course. Its wide paths are flanked by an impressive ravine of colorful rocks where spectacular native cacti grow with views of Mount Teide. The entrance to the green of the second hole (par 3) is surrounded by a large black sand bunker which requires a lot of precision.

Located just five kilometers from Playa de las Américas, Golf Costa Adeje aims to become one of the main sports and leisure complexes in the Canary Islands.

Over half a million square meters of stone walls from the old agricultural terraces have been restored and the greens have been laid out at key points on the golf course. This offers spectacular views of the sea, the island of La Gomera, the Playa de las Américas and the Adeje mountains.
The greens are generally large and the course has an equal number of par 3, 4 and 5, starting with a long par 5 of 510 meters.
Additional facilities at Costa Adeje Golf include a 45 square meter training course and driving range, located above a natural ravine and offering three tee levels at different heights.
